For more than 25 years, Brian Purtill has successfully handled cases for both plaintiffs and defendants in the areas of personal injury, breach of contract, real estate fraud, mechanics' lien law, construction law, complex construction defect cases, land use issues, easement and boundary disputes, insurance coverage and other general litigation matters. He has litigated cases in most Northern California coastal counties from San Francisco to the Oregon border, as well as the U.S. District Court in San Francisco.

Brian has served the Courts as a Small Claims Court Judge, Settlement Conference Panelist, Discovery Referee, and as Judge Pro Tem (Jury Trial). He is also a trained and experienced neutral, performing his Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services through Arbitration & Mediation Services in Santa Rosa. He has participated in numerous mediations on behalf of his clients over the years, and has conducted mediations and arbitrations in many types of cases, including personal injury, construction, landlord/tenant, and homeowner association matters. Brian is available to conduct mediations and arbitrations, and to serve as Discovery Referee and Special Master.
